AsiaToday reporter Choi Sung-rok = On March 11, Hyundai Motor announced that it has selected Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas and Brazilian striker Ricardo Kaka as its brand ambassadors for the '2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil' which will start on June 12.
Casillas is currently a goalkeeper at Read Madrid C.F. and Kaka is a midfielder at A.C. Milan. The two football stars will be promoting Hyundai Motor to the world through the FIFA World Cup.
An official of Hyundai Motor said, "We assigned these two stars as brand ambassadors as both of them have been working as the main players of Spain and Brazil teams, respectively."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor has been an official sponsor of FIFA since 1999. Hyundai Motor has been supporting all the international football competitions of FIFA.
